The purpose of our church, as developed during our years of ministry, states that we exist to bring Christ to families through:
Celebrating God's presence - Worship Communicating God's Word - Evangelism Educating God's people - Discipleship Demonstrating God's love - FellowshipThis vision statement very clearly outlines our major objectives as a Christian ministry and is derived from Matthew 22:36-40 and matthew 28:19-20. In these passages, Jesus gave to the Church His great commandment to love God and others and His great commission to go into the world and make disciples.
We find our unique purpose as a congregation to minister to families household by household. From the early church in Jerusalem as seen in Acts 5:42 and the call of Christ on the Gentiles in Acts 16:31 we see our clear mission as one to proclaim Christ by ministering to the needs of families.
