(Based on Mathew 22:36-40 & Mathew 28:19-20 NIV)
e believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
e believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that He lived a sinless life. We are redeemed by His atoning death and resurrection. He ascended to the right hand of the Father and will return in power and glory.
e believe the Bible to be the inspired, ultimately authoritative word of God in all matters of faith and practice.
e believe that God has called us to live a holy life that is pleasing to Him. The "way of salvation" is through Jesus Christ alone. It is by trusting in his grace through faith that one is forgiven and redeemed. We are then able to do the good works prepared for us.
e believe that sin always separates mankind from God. Through keeping in step with the Spirit we are no longer condemned under the law.
e believe that full immersion baptism is an act ordained by Christ as part of the believer's submission to the Lord. Baptism symbolizes the death and resurrection in the heart of the believer. It demonstrates what has taken place on the inside through the redeeming blood of Christ.
e believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are to be used to edify the body of Christ and to forward the mission of the church. The individual members of the body of Christ are given different gifts, which are to be used to accomplish the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and to live out the great commandment (Matthew 22:36-40).
